We re looking for a dynamic, results-driven Funding Specialist to join our client s team and play a crucial role in driving impactful change for their Community Foundation.

Working with a multi-million-pound budget, you will be essential in securing additional funding to extend their reach and amplify their mission within the communities they serve.

In this role, you ll collaborate with teams across the organisation to lead funding initiatives, build strategic partnerships, and play a key part in achieving their ambitious community goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fundraising Strategy: Collaborate with the Funding and Innovation Manager to implement a fundraising plan with measurable, community-centred impact.
  • Funding Acquisition: Develop winning bids, tenders, and proposals to secure critical funding that aligns with the foundation s mission.
  • Project Leadership: Manage funding projects that bring essential resources to community and charity partners.
  • Governance: Ensure full compliance with fundraising requirements, maintaining accurate records and meeting funder guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and sustain relationships with key funders, community organisations, and business partners.
  • Communication Support: Work alongside the Communications team to boost visibility and celebrate the impact of initiatives.

Skills

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in external fundraising, with experience in grant applications, bid writing, and managing public sector tenders.
