We’re supporting a leading UK residential property operator in the search for a Fire Safety Manager. This is a key role with responsibility for driving fire safety standards across a national estate, providing expert support to property and operations teams, and helping to shape policy and best practice.
The role is predominantly home based, with occasional travel to sites and regional offices as needed.
Key responsibilities:
Act as the fire safety lead across a broad UK estate
Develop, review and implement fire safety policies and procedures
Provide advice and guidance to internal teams on fire safety matters
Review the quality of fire risk assessments and conduct internal audits
Lead on responses to enforcement notices and develop action plans where needed
Support with fire safety remediation works and improvement programmes
Keep up to date with current and emerging fire safety legislation and ensure compliance
Build relationships with fire services, external consultants and relevant stakeholders
Support the integration of fire safety requirements into wider asset and estate management plans
What we’re looking for:
Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation
Experience working across housing, residential property, FM or similar
Relevant qualification and/or professional membership
