Principal People are delighted to be recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a market-leading utility business as part of their decarbonisation and metering division. The client we are working with can provide an excellent level of training and development to a self-motivated candidate with a desire to progress. The successful Health and Safety Advisor will report in to the Health & Safety Manager and will be well supported by an experienced and established team. This home-based position will see you travelling to sites in between Cambridge and London on an autonomous basis with an excellent level of flexibility to make work fit in with the rest of your life!

The key responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor are to:

  • Drive a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the wider business
  • Provide Health and Safety guidance across multiple sites
  • Conduct Health and Safety audits and inspections
  • Support the Health and Safety Manager
  • Undertake incident investigations and implement preventative measures to avoid similar incidents repeating

The Successful Health and Safety Advisor will hold:

  • NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction certificate or equivalent
  • Valid Full UK Driving License
  • Experience within Utilities, Consultancy, Social Housing and other related industries
