We're working with a well-established, family-run SME contractor delivering refurbishment and fit out projects up to £3m across the public sector, specifically with NHS, emergency services, and universities.
They’re seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to take the reins on all things safety, maintaining and improving current systems, driving compliance, and embedding a positive safety culture across the business.

Your role will include
- Carrying out day-to-day health and safety across multiple projects (mainly across Leicestershire with occasional further travel.
- Writing and reviewing Construction Phase Plans and RAMS.
- Carrying out site audits, toolbox talks, and inductions
- Investigating incidents and implementing improvements
- Maintaining accreditations (Safe Contractor, Construction Line)
- Being the go-to for all health and safety matters on site
We’re looking for
- NEBOSH General (Construction Cert ideal)
- Previous experience in a construction or fit-out environment (desirable but not essential)
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
