Interim Health and Safety Coordinator Location:
Stourbridge Day rate: £180-200 per day (Outside IR35) Contract: 3-6 months Start date: ASAP Travel: Office Based Principal People are currently recruiting for an Interim Health and Safety Coordinator in partnership with a well-established Waste Management and Recycling organisation based in the West Midlands on an initial 3-6 month contract.
This will be an office-based role and they are looking to pay the successful candidate a day rate of £180-200/day. Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety, the successful Interim Health and Safety Coordinator will support the Health and Safety function to update risk assessments, method statements and H&S policies and act as an overall support to the business in a more administrative focused role.
This role will be supported by a permanent health hand safety member of staff and an external H&S consultant and will be ideal for someone looking to progress their career within the health and safety sector whilst drawing upon their current knowledge and skills within this space. There may also be a longer-term opportunity available beyond this contract length. The Successful Interim Health and Safety Coordinator will hold:
- NEBOSH General Certificate minimum (or equivalent)
- Ideally hold H&S experience within waste management, recycling, industrial, production, automotive etc (experience working around heavy machinery is strongly desirable)
- Be happy to work an office-based role
- Be proficient using Microsoft Office applications and IT literate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be available to start at short notice
