Our client is seeking an experienced IT Engineer to join their established IT Operations team, supporting customers across the North Yorkshire region. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys a hands-on role, combining on-site and remote support across multiple locations. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality IT services, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring users receive an efficient and responsive support experience. The role offers a varied workload, autonomy, and the opportunity to work within a well-established organisation supporting critical operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first and second-line IT support across multiple customer sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, application, and peripheral issues.
- Support desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and end-user technologies.
- Provide both remote and on-site technical support to users.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Ensure incidents and service requests are resolved within agreed service levels.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and technical procedures.
- Work collaboratively with wider IT teams to deliver service improvements and project work.
Skills & Experience:
Essential
- Previous experience within an IT Support, Desktop Support, Service Desk, or IT Engineer role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments.
- Knowledge of desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral support.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for business use.

- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies.

The Package:
