Principal IT are working with an IT consultancy organisation that are looking for a 3rd line engineer to join their team. In this role you will play a vital part in supporting their future strategy. They are looking for someone who is passionate about continuous professional development and has an innovative approach to incorporating new technologies into their operations. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the forward-thinking IT team, undertaking certified and on premise training covering numerous systems and software. Reporting to the IT Helpdesk Manager, the role is site based, 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) and the successful candidate must have a full UK driving licence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the go-to person for projects such as Azure/SharePoint/Server installs/Migrations/New systems.
- Providing clients with a project plan so they know what to expect.
- Dealing with and scheduling 3rd parties as required.
- Ensuring all pre-requisites and resources are in place before the project begins.
- Ensuring the project team have all the required information and are on schedule.
- Keeping clients updated on the progress of the project.
- Ensuring that all parties (including 3rd party companies) are fully up to date.
