As the Assistant Financial Controller you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of De Vere Tortworth Court. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will assist in overseeing the day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting & forecasting, maintaining financial records and implementing financial controls.
Alongside the Financial Controller, General Manager and other Heads of Department, you will be involved in the production of the hotel annual budget as well as producing the bi-weekly forecast with the General Manager as and when necessary. The role of Assistant Financial Controller is a full-time position that involves working Monday to Friday during office hours on site.
Your Skills and Experience:
- You will have experience in a financial role that has involved purchase ledger work, preferably within the hospitality/events industry.
- Proficiency in using financial management software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- You have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- You have effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and develop other members of the team.
- It would also be beneficial if you had a HOSPA qualification.
