We are seeking a motivated and detail‑driven professional to lead our painting and decorating team, ensuring our venue is always presented at its very best. As a Head Painter & Decorator, you'll play a key role in preserving the look and feel of our property, while also overseeing the smooth delivery of decorating projects across the venue. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, you'll supervise painting and decorating tasks, ensuring the highest standards are maintained throughout. You will lead by example, making sure all work is carried out safely, with minimal disruption to our guests, and that your team consistently delivers a first‑class service. Alongside managing projects, you'll also support with hands‑on decorating and occasionally assist with general maintenance tasks when needed.
De Vere Beaumont Estate is set in Old Windsor and is our largest hotel estate, with 429 bedrooms, 45 meeting & event spaces, and over 40 acres of grounds. This historic Georgian manor house is at the centre of a vibrant hotel that hosts conferences, events, and weddings.

Responsibilities
- You will supervise painting and decorating tasks, ensuring the highest standards and safe working practices are upheld.
- You will coordinate schedules and workloads to minimise disruption to guests, lead by example, and deliver first‑class service.
- In addition to managerial duties, you will also provide hands‑on support on decorating projects and occasionally assist with general maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator in a hotel.
- Management or team leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide others.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
- A keen eye for detail and dedication to achieving a high standard of work.
- Awareness of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
