Join our team as a Reception Supervisor at De Vere Wokefield Estate and play a crucial role in ensuring our guests' expectations are not only met but exceeded. As a Reception Supervisor, you will lead by example and be the friendly face that greets our guests, making them feel welcome from the moment they arrive. You will ensure all shifts are supervised efficiently and all Reception duties are carried out to the agreed Company and Hotel Standards of Performance. You'll also support the Front of House Manager in the recruitment, induction, training and development of the Reception team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and greet guests warmly from arrival through departure.
  • Supervise all reception shifts, ensuring duties are completed to Company and Hotel standards.
  • Support the Front of House Manager in recruitment, induction, training and development of the Reception team.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and guests, facilitating a positive team and guest experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry or a similar role, demonstrating the ability to provide exceptional guest service.
  • Knowledge of Opera is desirable but not essential.
  • Effective communication skills, experience supporting and guiding colleagues.
  • Punctuality and good personal presentation.
  • Proficiency in using IT software; familiarity with Opera is advantageous (training provided if needed).
