Overview

De Vere Wokefield Estate is a stunning venue in an exceptional setting. The role of Gardener will involve establishing, maintaining and managing the gardens to the highest horticultural standards. You will be passionate about delivering the best experience for our visitors and guests and instrumental in the creation and restoration of our outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing, maintaining and managing the gardens to the highest horticultural standards and delivering the best experience for visitors and guests.
  • Previous experience in lawn care, hedge cutting, pruning, weeding, planting and associated garden tasks

Qualifications

  • Hold a RHS level 2 qualification or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of plants & their care with an interest in historic gardens
  • Skilled at using & maintaining gardening machinery
  • A Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of the wider hotel team
  • A positive attitude with good attention to detail
