We are seeking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and committed female Teacher of Physical Education to teach girls PE and join our successful and supportive PE Department for an immediate start. Due to the nature of the role, including supervision of girls changing areas and delivery of girls sport, this post is subject to a Genuine Occupational Requirement in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner to inspire students' enjoyment of sport, physical activity and healthy lifestyles within a well-resourced and ambitious department.
About the Role
- Can deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
- Has strong subject knowledge across a range of sports and activities
- Has experience or interest in developing girls sport and participation
- Contributes to an extensive extra-curricular programme and fixtures
- Motivates and engages students of all abilities
- Works collaboratively within a supportive team
