SEN Teaching Assistants & Support Workers ASD, PMLD & Complex Needs

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants and Support Workers to join our specialist teams supporting pupils with Autism (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Complex Needs.

About the Role

You will be working within a warm, supportive special school environment, helping pupils access learning, develop independence and achieve their personal goals. Every day will be different, and full of opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with ASD, PMLD and Complex Needs
• Assisting with communication, sensory regulation and emotional wellbeing
• Supporting personal care routines where required (full training provided)
• Helping deliver tailored learning activities designed by teachers and therapists
• Working closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff to implement EHCPs and support plans
• Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment

• Confident in supporting pupils with high or complex needs
• Calm, consistent and able to build trusting relationships
• Happy to support with physical or personal care when needed
• Experienced in SEN (desirable) or passionate and eager to start a career in special education
