We are seeking a committed, enthusiastic, and well-organised Science Technician to support the delivery of engaging and effective science lessons at [Insert School Name]. About the Role:

Working closely with the Head of Science and teaching staff, you will provide practical and administrative support across Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons. You will help ensure the smooth running of practical sessions, maintain equipment, manage chemicals safely, and support health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, set up and clear away equipment and materials for practical lessons.
  • Maintain stock levels of materials and equipment; place orders as needed.
  • Ensure that all equipment and chemicals are stored safely and in line with regulations.
  • Assist in the maintenance, cleaning and care of laboratories and equipment.
  • Support the teaching staff with practical experiments and demonstrations.
  • Uphold and promote a strong health and safety culture in all science areas.
