Salary - £23,161 - £25,355
Location - East London
Contract - Permanent - 37.5 hours per week (Term Time only)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and plan for creative and nutritionally well-balanced meals.
- Manage and undertake the daily operations of the kitchen to meet required standards.
- Support with the purchasing of the required ingredients and equipment.
- Ensure high standards of hygiene, health and safety and food safety requirements are implemented.
- Ensure cleaning and hygiene of the kitchen is to a high standard.
- Lead on the putting away of deliveries, stock rotation and ensure stock room is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Ensure temperature checks and relevant records completed.
- Encourage pupils to choose healthy balanced meal options.
- Promote the safety and well-being of the pupils at all times and to ensure that any Child Protection/Family Protection concerns are communicated appropriately to senior staff.
