Principal Education is working with Ursuline Academy Ilford to appoint a female PE Cover Supervisor / Sports Coach to join their dynamic team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a sports enthusiast with a passion for inspiring young women through physical education. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging PE lessons and supervising classes in the absence of the PE teacher.
Responsibilities
- Deliver PE lessons and sports activities across KS3 KS4 in line with the school s curriculum.
- Supervise classes, ensuring a positive, safe, and inclusive environment.
- Support students in developing fitness, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Contribute to extra-curricular sports clubs and school sporting events.
- Manage equipment and changing rooms appropriately.
Qualifications
- This post is restricted to female applicants only, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, Part 1) as the role involves supervision in female changing rooms.
- Strong background in sports coaching, PE, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Enthusiasm for motivating and inspiring students.
- Previous school or youth sports experience desirable.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
