Have you ever considered supporting the Teaching and Learning of children and young people who have Special Needs? We are looking to appoint Learning Support Assistants to join their hardworking and friendly team, working to support special needs children aged 3-19 years covering a whole range of complex needs including ASD, SLD, PMLD and challenging behaviour.
Information about the School
The school is a specialist setting catering for pupils aged 3-19 who have severe and complex Learning Needs (SLD/PMLD). The school focuses on a pupil's immediate learning needs and long-term aspirations and creatively explores ways to remove barriers to engagement and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
- Assist in managing behaviour in a positive, structured manner
- Support the development of communication, social, and independence skills
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals
- Monitor and record student progress
