Location - East London

Contract - Permanent - 37.5 hours per week (Term Time only)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and plan for creative and nutritionally well-balanced meals.
  • Manage and undertake the daily operations of the kitchen to meet required standards.
  • Support with the purchasing of the required ingredients and equipment.
  • Ensure high standards of hygiene, health and safety and food safety requirements are implemented.
  • Ensure cleaning and hygiene of the kitchen is to a high standard.
  • Lead on the putting away of deliveries, stock rotation and ensure stock room is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Ensure temperature checks and relevant records completed.
  • Encourage pupils to choose healthy balanced meal options.
  • Promote the safety and well-being of the pupils at all times and to ensure that any Child Protection/Family Protection concerns are communicated appropriately to senior staff.
