We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and dedicated Sociology Teacher to join our thriving and ambitious team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to contribute to a dynamic academy committed to excellence and high achievement for all students.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Sociology lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, fostering a stimulating learning environment where students are encouraged to think critically about society and their place within it. You will play a key role in shaping an engaging curriculum, supporting student progress, and contributing to the wider life of the academy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Sociology lessons
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress in line with academy policies
  • Support students in achieving excellent outcomes at GCSE and A-Level
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement

About You

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Sociology or a related subject
  • A strong subject knowledge and passion for Sociology
