Principal Education is looking for Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants and Behaviour Mentors to work in secondary schools across South East London, with a particular focus on Lambeth. Whether you’re an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, graduate, aspiring teacher, youth worker, sports coach, behaviour mentor or someone with strong experience working with young people, we may have opportunities to suit you. We offer flexible daily supply work, as well as longer-term opportunities depending on your experience and availability.
What You MUST demonstrate:
- Experience working with children or young people, whether in education, youth work, sports, behaviour support or a similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Ability to support pupils with SEN and additional needs.
- Flexibility, reliability and adaptability.
- Confidence working in different classroom and school environments.
- A genuine interest in supporting young people's learning and development.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
- Right to work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new application.
- Overseas police clearance if you have lived abroad for 6+ months within the last 5 years.
- Based in West London, Uxbridge or a nearby area with a manageable commute.
