We are seeking an ambitious, passionate, and inspiring Head of Social Science to lead and develop our Social Science department. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner with strong leadership potential to shape a high-quality curriculum and make a lasting impact on students’ academic and personal development.
About the Role
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Social Science department (e.g. Sociology, Psychology, Criminology, and related subjects)
- Lead on curriculum design, assessment, and quality assurance to ensure excellent outcomes for all students
- Inspire, support, and develop a team of dedicated teachers through effective coaching and line management
- Monitor student progress and implement targeted interventions to raise attainment
