The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and high-quality English Teacher to join the English department at from September 2026.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop their reading, writing, analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver consistently high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Teach engaging and challenging English Language and Literature lessons that inspire students and develop a genuine love of the subject.
Prepare students effectively for GCSE English Language and Literature examinations.
Develop students' ability to analyse texts, construct well-developed arguments and communicate their ideas confidently.
Encourage students to read widely and engage with a diverse range of literary texts.
Differentiate lessons effectively to meet the needs of students of varying abilities.
Challenge high-achieving students while providing appropriate support and intervention for those who require additional assistance.
Use formative and summative assessment to monitor progress and identify areas for development.
Provide high-quality feedback that enables students to understand how to improve.
Maintain high standards of behaviour, effort and academic achievement.
