Contract: Full Academic Year (Until July 2027)

Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Salary: £95 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)

Principal Education is seeking ambitious and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to join the school immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates looking to develop their skills within education and build a strong foundation for a future teaching career. The school is looking for graduates who can commit for the full academic year, allowing them to gain meaningful classroom experience, develop their confidence working with young people, and prepare for progression into teacher training programmes.

The Role

  • Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 within your subject specialism
  • Provide small group interventions and one-to-one academic support
  • Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
  • Help raise attainment and engagement in English, Maths or Science
  • Support students with varying learning needs and abilities
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Gain exposure to behaviour management, lesson planning and teaching strategies

The Ideal Candidate

  • A degree in English, Maths, Science or a related subject
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in teaching
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, proactive and professional attitude
  • Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
  • Able to commit to the full academic year
