Full-Time Monday to Friday ASAP Start

Principal Education is recruiting on behalf of a warm, welcoming Infant School in East London (E10) for a Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This is a full-time, long-term position with an immediate start, offering a fantastic opportunity to work within a nurturing and child-centred EYFS environment.

The Role

  • Support children across Nursery and/or Reception
  • Assist the class teacher with delivery of the EYFS curriculum
  • Provide 1:1 and small group learning support
  • Support children's social, emotional and academic development
  • Assist with observations, assessments and learning journals
  • Help maintain a safe, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support pupils with additional needs where required

The Ideal Candidate

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential)
  • Previous experience in an EYFS or nursery setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Caring, enthusiastic and reliable
  • Able to work well as part of a team
