Principal Education is recruiting on behalf of a warm, welcoming Infant School in East London (E10) for a Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This is a full-time, long-term position with an immediate start, offering a fantastic opportunity to work within a nurturing and child-centred EYFS environment.
The Role
- Support children across Nursery and/or Reception
- Assist the class teacher with delivery of the EYFS curriculum
- Provide 1:1 and small group learning support
- Support children's social, emotional and academic development
- Assist with observations, assessments and learning journals
- Help maintain a safe, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
- Support pupils with additional needs where required
The Ideal Candidate
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential)
- Previous experience in an EYFS or nursery setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Caring, enthusiastic and reliable
- Able to work well as part of a team
