We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated, and inspiring English Teacher to join our successful and supportive English department from September 2026. About the Role

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable)
  • Inspire a love of literature, language, and critical thinking in students
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Monitor and assess student progress, using data to inform teaching and intervention
  • Contribute to curriculum development within the English department
  • Support the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extracurricular activities

About You

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Has strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Is committed to raising achievement and closing attainment gaps
  • Works collaboratively and contributes positively to a team
  • Is reflective and committed to ongoing professional development
