Principal Education is looking for caring, steady SEN Teaching Assistants to work in inclusive primary schools across Ealing, full time until July 2027. You will be supporting children with autism and communication needs, some of them non-verbal, who do best with calm, consistent adults around them every day.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
- Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, in class and at play
- Use visuals, routines and sensory strategies to help children regulate
- Work with the class teacher and SENCO towards each child's EHCP targets
- Help with personal care where needed
- Build the trust that makes children feel safe and ready to learn
What you must bring:
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience supporting children with SEN, whether in schools, care, youth work or at home
- Patience, empathy and composure when the day gets hard
- Full time availability, Monday to Friday, term time
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new application
- Overseas police clearance if you've lived abroad for 6 months or more in the last 5 years
Pay and benefits:
