We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated Data, Systems and Exams Manager to lead the strategic and operational management of the school's data systems, examinations, timetabling and cover arrangements. The Role

Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the efficient leadership, development, management and organisation of school data, examinations and timetabling systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the analysis and reporting of attainment and progress data to support school improvement.
  • Managing and maintaining SIMS, SISRA and associated data systems.
  • Producing high-quality reports and presentations for senior leaders, governors and teaching staff.
  • Supporting target setting, forecasting and performance tracking across all key stages.
  • Leading the planning, administration and delivery of all internal and external examinations.
  • Acting as the school's lead Exams Officer and ensuring full compliance with JCQ regulations.
  • Supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of the school timetable.
  • Managing the school's cover arrangements and staff deployment processes.
  • Supporting census returns, GDPR compliance and data quality assurance.
  • Leading and developing administrative and examinations staff to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Be educated to A Level standard or equivalent, with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Have experience managing management information systems and working extensively with data analysis and reporting.
  • Possess excellent organisational, analytical and project management skills.
  • Be an effective communicator with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Have strong leadership skills and experience working collaboratively across teams.
  • Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity.
  • Experience of working within a school environment, managing examinations and using SIMS is desirable.
