We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, creative, and visionary Head of Art to lead our thriving Art Department from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate educator to shape the strategic direction of Art across the school and inspire students to achieve exceptional outcomes.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide strong leadership for the Art Department, promoting a culture of high expectations, creativity, and academic excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the Art Department
- Deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3–5
- Develop an ambitious, inclusive, and innovative Art curriculum
- Monitor and evaluate student progress and attainment
- Inspire students to develop creativity, confidence, and technical skill
- Support and mentor departmental staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
