As Curriculum Lead of Drama, you will provide strategic leadership for the subject, driving excellence in teaching and learning, developing an innovative curriculum, and fostering a culture of creativity, confidence, and performance across the school.
The Role
- Lead and develop the Drama curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4, and, where applicable, Key Stage 5.
- Inspire students through high-quality teaching and engaging learning experiences.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress to ensure excellent outcomes for all learners.
- Lead curriculum planning, assessment, and quality assurance within the department.
- Support, coach, and develop colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Promote participation in extracurricular drama activities, productions, performances, and enrichment opportunities.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through performances, events, and community engagement.
