Overview
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors and Cover Teachers to join schools. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young people, can adapt quickly to different classroom environments, and support students\’ learning in the absence of regular teachers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain focused and engaged.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
- Support students with their work and monitor behaviour.
- Report any issues or incidents to the appropriate staff member.
What We\’re Looking For
- Previous experience working with children or in a classroom setting is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage behaviour confidently and maintain classroom discipline.
- Flexibility, reliability, and a professional attitude.
- A passion for supporting students\\\’ learning and wellbeing.
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are usually required.
