We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant with a Science specialism to join a thriving secondary school in the Hackney area. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is considering a career in teaching and would like to gain hands-on classroom experience in a supportive school environment.

The Role

  • Support students in Science lessons (KS3 & KS4)
  • Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation, resources and classroom organisation
  • Provide targeted support to students with SEND, EAL or lower prior attainment
  • Help promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school

  • Holds a degree in a Science subject (or related field)
