We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and proactive Learning Mentor with ELSA training to support the social, emotional, and academic development of our pupils. The successful candidate will:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with social, emotional, or behavioural needs.
  • Deliver ELSA interventions tailored to individual pupils, helping them develop emotional literacy, resilience, and self-confidence.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure consistent support for pupils' well-being.
  • Monitor pupil progress, evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Contribute to creating a positive, safe, and supportive school environment.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has ELSA training or equivalent qualifications.
  • Has experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
  • Is empathetic, patient, and able to build trusting relationships with pupils.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
