We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and high-quality Maths Teacher to join its successful Mathematics department from September 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop confidence, mathematical understanding and strong examination outcomes. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, adapting teaching to meet the needs and abilities of all learners. Teach engaging lessons that develop students' mathematical knowledge, problem-solving skills and confidence. Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations, ensuring strong subject knowledge and exam technique. Differentiate lessons appropriately for students of varying abilities, including high-achieving pupils and those requiring additional support. Use assessment effectively to monitor progress, identify gaps in knowledge and inform future teaching. Maintain high expectations of behaviour, effort and academic achievement. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students are encouraged to participate and achieve their potential. Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department to develop schemes of work, resources and teaching strategies. Provide constructive feedback to students and contribute to assessment and reporting processes. Support students with their wider academic development and encourage a positive attitude towards Mathematics. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and departmental initiatives. The Ideal Candidate The successful Maths Teacher will: Have QTS or equivalent teaching qualification and relevant secondary school teaching experience. Have strong subject knowledge across the secondary Maths curriculum. Have experience teaching KS3 and GCSE Maths. Be passionate about Mathematics and committed to raising student achievement. Have excellent classroom management and communication skills. Be able to build positive relationships with students and colleagues. Have high expectations and a commitment to safeguarding and student welfare. Be enthusiastic, reliable and committed to contributing positively to the school community. Why Us?
