Principal Education is hiring passionate Behaviour Mentors and Youth Workers with SEN experience for schools across South East and South West London — including Lewisham, Lambeth, Southwark, Croydon, Greenwich, Bromley, and Wandsworth.

The OpportunityEvery day, you’ll help students rebuild confidence, regulate emotions, and re-engage with learning. You’ll be the person who shows up, who listens, who helps them believe they can succeed. No marking. No planning. Just meaningful impact — every single day.
Your role will include:- One-to-one and small-group SEN support
- De-escalation and mentoring for pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs
- Working with SENCOs and Inclusion Leads to create safe, structured spaces
- Building real relationships that change outcomes
- Experience working with SEN, SEMH, or challenging behaviour
- Resilient, empathetic, and consistent in your approach
- Confident managing classroom behaviour positively
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
- £100–£130 per day (PAYE or umbrella)
- Immediate & long-term placements available
- Pathways into Teaching, HLTA, or Pastoral Leadership
- Supportive schools & ongoing consultant guidance
