Principal Education is hiring passionate Behaviour Mentors and Youth Workers with SEN experience for schools across South East and South West London — including Lewisham, Lambeth, Southwark, Croydon, Greenwich, Bromley, and Wandsworth.

The Opportunity

Every day, you’ll help students rebuild confidence, regulate emotions, and re-engage with learning. You’ll be the person who shows up, who listens, who helps them believe they can succeed. No marking. No planning. Just meaningful impact — every single day.

Your role will include:
  • One-to-one and small-group SEN support
  • De-escalation and mentoring for pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs
  • Working with SENCOs and Inclusion Leads to create safe, structured spaces
  • Building real relationships that change outcomes
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working with SEN, SEMH, or challenging behaviour
  • Resilient, empathetic, and consistent in your approach
  • Confident managing classroom behaviour positively
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
Pay & Benefits
  • £100–£130 per day (PAYE or umbrella)
  • Immediate & long-term placements available
  • Pathways into Teaching, HLTA, or Pastoral Leadership
