About Princeton Biopartners: Princeton Biopartners is a best-in-class strategy consulting and AI software firm serving the global life sciences sector. We partner with Fortune 500 biopharmaceutical companies on high-impact strategic initiatives, combining advisory expertise with proprietary software solutions to improve the evidence base, accessibility, and impact of biomedical innovations.

We’re a tech and AI-first firm, and AI fluency is expected in how we build, operate, and deliver. Princeton Biopartners was recently recognised with the “Evidence Generation Software of the Year 2026” award by Life Sciences Review for our innovation in AI-enabled evidence generation and planning solutions.

The Role: We are hiring a full-time Full Stack Software Engineer to help build the next generation of AI-enabled software products supporting evidence generation, medical strategy, and pharmaceutical decision-making. This is a high-ownership role within a fast-growing entrepreneurial company operating at the intersection of strategy consulting, healthcare, and AI. You will work directly with senior leadership, engineers, consultants, and pharmaceutical stakeholders to shape and build products used by leading global biopharma organisations.

Our engineers are not siloed away from the business. They operate close to strategic problems, influence product direction, and contribute directly to systems that support real-world healthcare decision-making. Your work will be visible from day one, and you’ll have significant influence over the products, workflows, and infrastructure we build.

We look for engineers who are genuinely self-directed, highly accountable, and energised by solving problems without waiting for instructions. You’ll grow faster here than you would in a traditional large-company environment, but we also operate with a very high performance bar and expect exceptional attention to detail and ownership.

What We’re Looking For:

  • UK-based (mandatory, remote role)
  • Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in a software engineering, startup, or technology role required
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a related STEM discipline from a top-tier institution such as Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, or an Ivy League university
  • AI-native and fluent in modern AI-assisted software development workflows
  • Exceptional ownership mentality with strong accountability and follow-through
  • Highly proactive self-starter capable of operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and translating loosely defined problems into pragmatic technical solutions
  • Strong product intuition and ability to balance speed, quality, and practicality
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished, production-quality work
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate directly with senior stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build modern full stack applications supporting AI-enabled healthcare and evidence-generation workflows
  • Develop scalable frontend and backend systems using modern frameworks and cloud infrastructure
  • Leverage AI tools and copilots to accelerate development speed, testing, debugging, and prototyping
  • Collaborate closely with consultants and leadership to rapidly translate business problems into software solutions
  • Help shape the architecture, tooling, workflows, and engineering standards underpinning our AI platform
  • Contribute to product direction, feature prioritisation, and user experience decisions
  • Build internal tools, dashboards, automation systems, and client-facing applications
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and structured engineering practices

Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience with modern web technologies (React, TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, APIs, CSS frameworks)
  • Proficiency in Python strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, architecture, data structures, and system design
  • Experience using GitHub, CI/CD workflows, and cloud infrastructure
  • Familiarity with Azure is a plus
  • Bonus: experience with AI tooling, LLM integrations, vector databases, data engineering, or healthcare/life sciences data

What We Offer:

  • Significant ownership and autonomy from day one
  • Opportunity to shape the direction of products deployed within leading global biopharma organisations
  • Direct exposure to senior pharmaceutical, consulting, and technology leadership
  • Fast career progression within a high-growth AI and strategy firm
  • Flexible remote working environment
  • Access to premium London workspaces and members clubs
  • Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience
  • Opportunity to become an early core team member helping shape the future of the business

We do not discriminate based on race, religion, colour, national origin, gender (including pregnancy or related conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, age, veteran status, disability, or other legally protected characteristics.
