Join our team in Saxon Wharf in Southampton, as an experienced Marine Warranty Manager within our yacht servicing and aftercare team. Reporting to the Group Aftersales Director, you will be responsible for delivering a first-class warranty and aftersales experience for our boat owners. Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, you will manage warranty claims and repair projects from start to finish, coordinating technicians, subcontractors, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure issues are resolved efficiently, professionally, and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
- A full driving license is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- To be the front-line contact for all customers/skippers who have boats which are not located within the area of our Aftersales offices.
- To arrange for warranty repairs to be completed in an efficient, timely manner with the use of our own technicians as well as subcontractors.
- To own the problems the customer may have from start to finish.
- To ensure warranty claims are submitted with the correct information first time and the claims are followed up daily on the manufacturers systems.
- To ensure the customers are kept up to date while warranty repairs are being planned and being completed.
- To arrange travel for our technicians to the location of the boat.
- To have a separate list of repairs for each boat which are on a central file and can be reviewed by anyone at any time.
- To ensure our technicians and sub-contractors complete a report for every job we carry out.
- To handle complaints in a positive, calm manner and escalate to Group Aftersales Director if it cannot be resolved by yourself.
- Any technical issues which cannot be resolved by the technicians or subcontractor should be raised with the Group Technical Manager.
- To ensure the Group Aftersales Administrator has all the information required to be able to invoice and chase outstanding debt in a timely manner.
