Full-Time. Position Overview
To be the parts link to the service department. To ensure that the customer/Internal departments requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner to other members of staff to achieve a high standard of customer satisfaction. To solely be responsible for all parts orders from the service department. To provide parts technical support to all front-line employees.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Ensure all service department parts orders are acted on in a timely manner.
- Ensure regular updates of delivery times to service department for all ordered parts.
- To use Smart sheet to enable the service department to track all ordered parts.
- To pre-pick parts for the next day to increase technicians’ efficiency.
- To cover for the parts manager in his absence.
- To work with Aftersales Manager to reach parts targets.
- To ensure any parts not used or required are sent back for credit in a timely manner.
- To gain experience of retro parts products to help in the sales process.
- To have input with stock levels with the Part Manager.
- To have regular meeting with the Production Manager to look at advanced bookings.
- To look at upsell opportunities with the sale of service retail parts.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations in accordance with company policy.
