Role Overview
The role supports the Inpatient team on a two‑month fixed‑term contract commencing in August 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct hospice admissions, follow‑up reviews and urgent assessments for in‑patient unit patients.
- Collaborate with a holistic, multidisciplinary team to assess and manage patient care.
- Provide cross‑cover across the medical team as required.
- Partner with senior clinicians and receive guidance from a named clinical supervisor.
- Engage in CPD and teaching opportunities as offered.
Qualifications & Experience
- Full GMC registration with licence to practice and ongoing appraisal/revalidation.
- Experience in Palliative Medicine, with a desire to further pursue specialty training.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work within a multidisciplinary team.
