Main duties of the job
As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and other clinicians to provide safe, high‑quality and person‑centred care. Your duties will include:
- Supporting patients with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting and feeding
- Assisting with mobility, moving and handling, and patient comfort
- Recording and reporting patient observations (e.g., temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure)
- Assisting clinical teams with care plans and procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment
- Offering emotional reassurance and compassionate support to patients and families
You will play a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing, dignity and safety of our patients at all times.
