Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production systems and machinery, which are critical to our operations.
Job Purpose:
Reporting to the site Maintenance Manager, the post holder will be required to monitor, diagnose and manage the repair/maintenance of the site's equipment. Produce reports from downtime analysis with solutions to rectify known issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust reliability engineering program that guides our maintenance team and informs our operational strategies.
- Conduct root cause analysis to understand the reasons for equipment failures and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Implement and manage a robust planned preventative maintenance program to ensure the reliability and longevity of all production systems and equipment.
- Perform root cause analysis on all equipment and system failures and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Implement and manage condition-based monitoring systems to facilitate predictive maintenance and reduce system downtime.
- Analyze and track MTBF data to identify trends, potential problems, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement reliability tests on new and existing equipment.
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures for equipment operation and maintenance.
- Provide training and guidance to the maintenance team on reliability practices and standard operating procedures.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure maintenance activities are scheduled at the least disruptive times.
- Maintain product food safety, legality, integrity, authenticity, and quality standards by ensuring all associated policies and procedures are adhered to.

- Recognised Engineering Qualification
- Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably within the beverages/soft drinks industry.
- In-depth knowledge of reliability engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and team-working skills.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management systems and other relevant computer applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
