Role Description

We are looking for an experience Procurement Executive to provide a full administrative support to the Buying function whilst generating an understand the role and responsibilities of the Purchasing function.

  • To provide appropriate support when required.
  • To liaise with suppliers to ensure stockholdings, forecast and contract balance information are reviewed.
  • Principal Responsibilities
  • Assist in ensuring that the best information is obtained from suppliers with regard to market trends, pricing fluctuations and forecasts so that Princes remains the leading provider of information in the markets we operate in.
  • Provide administrative assistance with researching and developing sources of supply and provide support to the buyers during contract renewal and tender processes.
  • Ensure the accuracy and management of contracts and Purchase Info records onto SAP.

Assisting in the management of supplier contracts and maintenance of contract balances based on forecasts, promotional activities and product de-lists.

  • Maintain purchasing data bases to ensure other departments have prompt accurate information. Review generated reports for control and purchasing decisions.
  • Reporting of currency tracker and cost savings / retained benefit details.
  • Manage the Ethical Supply Status of suppliers through the Sedex Platform ensuring SAQ’s are completed and audit NC’s are reviewed through supplier collaboration.
  • Support the buying team with administrative support to on-going project work that includes business optimisation, supply chain mapping and specification updates.
  • Periodically review product knowledge presentations assisted by the relevant buyer for the business area & complete any required updates.

  • Excellent data analysis, co-ordination and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with a methodical, structured approach.
  • Competent user of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point, plus, SAP ECC experience is preferable.
  • Numerate.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong administration experience.
  • High level of personal accountability
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility within the role
