MPA Group Practices are looking for enthusiastic Receptionists/Practice Administrators with excellent interpersonal, customer service and organisational skills to work across the Group Practice. The Group Practice covers five sites across Medway and Swale with a 30,600 patient list size.
Main duties of the job include working on a busy reception desk, dealing with patients both over the telephone and face to face, while providing a friendly and professional service. The role also involves working in the back office, carrying out a range of clinical administration tasks to support the wider practice team and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.
Previous reception, administration and/or customer service experience is desirable, along with strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and good organisation skills.
About us: MPA Ltd is a GP Federation delivering multiple clinical services across Medway and Swale; this includes Primary Care Services at Castle and Maidstone Road Surgery and MPA Group Practices, Home Visiting Service and supporting PCNs with the delivery of Enhanced Access Hours.
Job responsibilities may vary from time to time under the direction of the practice manager, dependent on current and evolving practice workload and staffing levels.

- Qualifications: Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, GCSE Mathematics and English (C or above)
- Skills: Strong IT skills - competent in the use of Office and Outlook
- Experience: Experience of working with the general public, experience of working in a healthcare setting, preferably primary care, experience using EMIS clinical system, Anima and iPlato
