Role Description:

Job Purpose: To perform operational tasks necessary for the efficient running of the site's production operations in accordance with the production plan, based on training and competency.

Dimensions: Number of team members, customer standards, pallets produced per shift, shift pattern — details to be specified.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and codes of practice.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.
  • Be competent in all mandatory elements of the role for the production area/line.
  • Assist with tasks like preparation, filling, labeling, packaging, palletization, and movement of products.
  • Report defective raw materials or substandard products, paying attention to labels and packaging.
  • Understand HACCP principles and the company's HACCP plan.
  • Complete health and safety, quality, and production documentation as required.
  • Ensure activities are undertaken safely to prevent injuries.
  • Identify opportunities to improve line performance and communicate them to supervisors or managers.
  • Participate in Autonomous Maintenance activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement teams as asked.
