Princes Liverpool is recruiting for an Assistant Commercial Accountant to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has recently graduated or is studying their AAT looking to progress into CIMA. Monday - Thursday you will be working from our flagship office which is situated in the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool and then you will be able to work from home on a Friday. Please note this is an initial 12 month fixed term contract.

Job Purpose: To support the business in providing comprehensive commercial finance support including providing commercial data sets such as demand summaries and supporting the commercial finance team in the delivery of commercial financial reporting.
Dimensions: As a key member of the Commercial Finance team you will be required to liaise with various levels of personnel to ensure that the commercial information is produced accurately and on a timely basis. The role will support the Commercial Accountants in the team as well as delivery of key commercial reports such as the Demand summaries and weekly reports.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Production of annual demand summary information at agreed points during the month to support the profit forecast cycle.
- Weekly reporting for commercial teams produced accurately and on a timely basis.
- Support with the preparation of the monthly management and commercial finance reporting in accordance with prescribed formats, timescales and procedures.
- Support Commercial Accountants with routine monthly postings, such as accruals and stock in transit.
- Analysis, review and submission of all relevant balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Assisting the Commercial Accountants with the production of budget information.
- Assisting the Commercial Accountants with the production of weekly and monthly forecasts.
- Provide financial support to the Commercial departments, dealing promptly with queries.
- Ad hoc investigations and analysis.
- Extend knowledge of BI reporting tool and dashboard to support analytics development within commercial finance.
