The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
Operates, cleans, works to hygiene standards, and carries out basic maintenance of manufacturing or packing equipment (e.g., Steriliser, seamer, filler, or packer) for the manufacture, processing or packing of food in cans/pouches.
To work to agreed performance standards, OEE, Process safety, food hygiene, quality, good manufacturing practices and with due regard for the health and safety of themselves and others around them.
The person will form part of a team, having a responsibility for the delivery of planned production through the production/packing line.
The key challenges faced will be to ensure Process safety, the materials supply, changeovers, line faults and breakdowns, do not impact on overall line performance (OEE).
Focus will be always required to achieve measurable targets and KPI\’s (OEE, UL, RFT).
Qualifications
Experience within a food‑processing environment and understanding of hygiene standards would be desirable but not essential.
Competent numeracy/literacy skills.
