We are a well-established Plumbing, Heating, Renewable Energy and Electrical contractor based in North Shropshire, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and qualified Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our friendly and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and is looking to develop their skills within the rapidly growing renewable energy sector. Heat pump experience may be an advantage but not necessary as training and support will be provided.

The Role:

You will be involved in a variety of domestic plumbing, heating and renewable energy projects, including:

  • Full plumbing and heating installations in new-build properties
  • Air source heat pump installations
  • Underfloor heating systems
  • Domestic central heating installations
  • General plumbing installations
  • Plumbing and heating repairs, servicing and maintenance

This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work on both traditional heating systems and the latest renewable energy technologies.

What we're looking for:

The successful candidate will have:

  • NVQ Plumbing & Heating qualifications (or equivalent)
  • Unvented Hot Water Cylinder qualification
  • A minimum of 5 years' post qualification industry experience
  • The ability to work independently and use their own initiative
  • Strong communication skills when dealing with customers, clients and colleagues
  • A positive, professional and can-do attitude
  • A full UK driving licence

Additional industry qualifications and renewable energy experience would be beneficial but are not essential. Salary is negotiable for candidates with additional experience, qualifications or renewable energy expertise.
