The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.
To work to agreed performance standards, OEE, Process safety, food hygiene, quality, good manufacturing practices and with due regard for the health and safety of themselves and others around them.
The person will form part of a team, having a responsibility for the delivery of planned production through production/packing line.
Operates, cleans, works to hygiene standards, and carries out basic maintenance of manufacturing, or packing equipment (e.g., Steriliser, seamer, filler, or packer) for the manufacture, processing or packing of food in cans/pouches.
The key challenges faced will be to ensure Process safety, the materials supply, changeovers, line faults and breakdowns, do not impact on overall line performance (OEE).
Focus will be always required to achieve measurable targets and KPI’s (OEE, UL, RFT).
Accountabilities/Competencies to be demonstrated in line with site competency matrix.
- Positive and proactive response is required to Health & Safety, Food Hygiene standards, GMP standards, training, and supervision.
- Uses and adheres to Company processes / systems.
- Demonstrates competent numeracy & literacy skills to interpret data and work instructions.
- Demonstrates effective team working & communication skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks to specified standards.
- Ability to adapt according to business pressures/needs i.e., plan changes.
- Ability to learn routine procedures and perform to specified standards and processes.
- Takes responsibility for providing satisfactory standard of work against expected levels.
- Flexibility to be moved/trained across the site and to utilise skills in other departments.
- Ensure operation of equipment and work practices as trained when required.
- Effective cleaning of lines and equipment to required standards.
- Receptive to/participate in being trained for other lines/processes.
- Supporting and training new team members on lines/processes you are competent in performing.
