Role Description

We have multiple permanent full time roles available in our world class Long Sutton manufacturing site which produces canned products for leading UK and Europe supermarkets.

You have a choice of working within two areas of our manufacturing site.

Ranges from £27,300 - £36,700 per annum depending on shift pattern, banked hours, single versus multi skilled roles.

Shift Patterns

You have a choice of working either rotating day shifts or night shifts for both the Logistics and Manufacturing Produce Line Operative roles.

  • Operative – Logistics Department – Key Responsibilities
  • Unloading deliveries.
  • Warehousing raw product to relevant areas including ambient, chilled & frozen.
  • Moving product from warehouse to various production lines.
  • Loading finished product for transportation to customers warehouses.
  • Carry out all duties within Princes quality, safety and environmental frameworks.
  • Carry out all duties by liaising with other team members and other support departments as necessary to ensure efficient continuous running of the lines.
  • Operative – Manufacturing Product Lines – Key Responsibilities
  • Working across multiple production lines producing food canned goods for leading supermarket brands including Branston, Princes, Bigga.
  • Quality checking product packaging.
  • Ensure correct ingredients are used for each product line.
  • Ensure correct product labelling is used for each production line.
  • Carry out all duties within Princes quality, safety and environmental frameworks.
  • Carry out all duties by liaising with other team members and other support departments as necessary to ensure efficient continuous running of the lines.

Experience / Knowledge / Skills – Role Requirements

  • Previous food manufacturing experience is beneficial, but not essential.
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment.
  • Effective communication.
  • Team work.
  • Attention to detail.
  • The ability to work in an efficient and timely manner.
  • To maintain product Food Safety, Legality, Integrity, Authenticity and Quality standards by ensuring all associated policies and procedures are adhered to.
