Role Description

Princes Liverpool is recruiting for a Source 2 Pay IT Solutions Lead to join our Head Office in the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool.

The purpose of this role is to deliver the overarching design, description, delivery and integrity of Source-to-Pay systems solutions required to meet the objectives of the Princes Strategy.

Working with cross functional stakeholders the role will define and document best practice solutions, taking account of all Stakeholder requirements and business objectives whilst ensuring solutions are aligned with existing Enterprise, Technical and software environments and standards.

  • Design, implementation, and maintenance of all source to pay systems.
  • Manage and develop direct reports
  • Providing third line support for source to pay systems.
  • The role requires occasional travel and periods away from home.
  • The role may be required to perform duties outside of normal working hours
  • Principal Responsibilities
  • Provide internal technical expertise to design and develop solutions that address business requirements and deliver on the wider strategy
  • Support the business with the delivery of the source to pay programme
  • Collect and analyse business requirements to feed into design processes
  • Feed into the ongoing strategy development as new and alternative technology solutions become available. Assist with the definition of future processes
  • Provide a bridge between IT and the business
  • Customise and develop solutions where required – manage developments as part of small change or wider business and IT projects
  • Transition source to pay solutions to business as usual and provide ongoing support
  • Propose, develop and execute plans for upgrading and maintenance of software, liaising with 3rd party suppliers to ensure delivery
  • Manage and develop the source to pay team members, ensuring the stability of the workforce alongside the long-term needs of the functional department

  • Understanding of Data Warehouse Concepts and solutions in SAP.

  • Understanding of systems architectures that form the backbone of Source to Pay systems.
  • Business to Business communications architecture
  • Detailed understanding of software testing techniques and methods.
  • Understanding of methods and approaches to train and coach end users on business systems.
  • Strong user of Microsoft Office applications
