Due to the nature of our works, the Company requires all employees to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This will include a check against the Children’s and Adults’ Barred List. Given that client vetting requirements vary and change, you may be required to undergo a variety of vetting checks for our clients during your employment and this may result in further checks at intervals determined by the Company and in accordance with applicable regulations.
The role of the Apprentice Electrician will be to gain knowledge, understanding and technical and practical skills to enable you to complete the Installation Electrician Apprenticeship Standard Level 3. You will learn the skills needed to become a qualified installation electrician, supported by exceptional managers, supervisors and electricians. You will become an integral part of the company.
After successfully completing a 4-year apprenticeship that will include mandatory attendance on a structured day release programme, you will continue to develop your new skills within our outstanding electrical department, becoming an integral part of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Engaging in all aspects of an extensive apprenticeship training programme to culminate in completion and qualification of the Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification.
 - Attending a variety of training and learning opportunities that will include on-site, in-house and bespoke training and tasks.
 - Supporting colleagues with relevant duties expected within the Building Services Department.
 - Being a supportive, hardworking, flexible team member whilst learning all aspects of our electrical projects.
 - Regular use of our bespoke computer system and other software packages.
 - Duties and responsibilities will vary in line with progress and training levels.
 
This is a full-time position and hours of work will be 39 hours per week. This will also involve daily travel and working away as deemed necessary for the needs of the business. 07:45hrs to 16:30hrs Monday to Thursday, 07:45hrs to 15:30hrs Friday.
